I've always enjoyed the mixing stage of making a record. It's where the performances, arrangements and sounds come together, and where the character of the record comes into focus.

I’ve been making records at my studio in West Sussex since 1984. I mix for artists, producers and labels here and remotely.

How I work

You're welcome to send a work in progress for production or arrangement feedback. If you're unsure which files to send, tell me what you have and I’ll advise.

  1. 01

    Send your tracks.

    Send your Pro Tools session, multitracks or exported stems via Dropbox or WeTransfer, with a rough mix if you have one.

  2. 02

    Listen and discuss.

    We discuss your rough mix, references and any changes you have in mind. You don’t need the technical term for what you’re hearing.

  3. 03

    Mix and revise.

    I mix here in the control room, and we refine things together through shared files, notes and review calls.

  4. 04

    Final delivery.

    I supply the final mixes in the formats your release needs.

With Jim Tomlinson · Nearly three decades

Stacey Kent

Since 1997, I’ve recorded, mixed and mastered many albums with Stacey and Jim Tomlinson, and co-produced several.

Stacey and Jim are close friends, and I’m very proud of the albums we’ve made together.

Stacey’s catalogue as a whole has passed a billion streams worldwide, and our recording of “I Wish I Could Go Travelling Again” was included in Barack Obama’s favourite music of 2025.

I've worked with Steve Howe since 1991, and Aurora continues that long musical relationship.

I recorded, mixed and mastered the album in stereo, 5.1 surround and Dolby Atmos, working closely with Steve and the band throughout the project.

Sezen Aksu — Gülümse

In 1991, I mixed Gülümse, Sezen Aksu's album produced by Onno Tunç. It went on to sell an estimated 2.5 million copies, becoming one of the biggest-selling albums in Turkish music history.
