Composer • Producer • Sonic Architect
Curtis Schwartz is an American composer, record producer, sound engineer, and multi-instrumentalist whose music career spans continents, genres, and decades. Born in Vienna, raised in Los Angeles, and now based in London, he channels the spirit of all three - Vienna’s classical elegance, LA’s sonic melting pot, and London’s cutting-edge vibe.
For over 40 years, Curtis has made versatility his signature. He’s composed 19 albums for the legendary KPM/EMI production music, moving seamlessly from Pop and Rock to Jazz and Hip Hop. Since the mid-’90s, his mixes have defined the sound of ITV News across the UK - his work heard by millions daily.
Most recently, he recorded and mixed the latest two albums by prog-rock giants Yes, including immersive Dolby Atmos mixes - proving that staying at the forefront of audio technology isn’t just what he does - it’s who he is.
