I started mastering records in the 1980s. Decades of recording, producing and mixing have taught me what a finished record needs, and just as importantly, when to leave it alone.
I’m an experienced mastering engineer based in West Sussex, UK, working remotely with artists, producers and labels worldwide on singles, EPs and albums.
Send me your stereo mix from anywhere in the world. I’ll master it at Curtis Schwartz Studio in West Sussex, UK, and supply release-ready masters for streaming, CD, vinyl and high-resolution digital release.
Mastering rates
£95 + VAT per hour
I charge for the time the mastering actually takes, rather than a fixed price per track. For a well-recorded, tonally consistent album, it is not unusual for the complete mastering to take around three hours, and sometimes less.
I can usually give you an estimate once I’ve heard the mixes.
