Spotify contains a large part of Curtis Schwartz’s catalogue. This playlist is a more personal selection — tracks chosen to give a clearer sense of his writing, range and musical feel.
Curtis Schwartz has written extensively for production music, television, film, records and bespoke recording projects, with work published by KPM / EMI Production Music and Scoring House / West One Music.
His catalogue includes more than twenty albums for KPM/EMI Production Music, ranging from melodic instrumental writing to rock, lifestyle, sport and broadcast music. Life & Leisure reached No. 1 in the U.S. production music charts, and Fit To Win was co-written with Keith Mansfield. At one point, Curtis was KPM’s highest-earning writer in a single quarter.
Since the late 1990s, Curtis has also been part of the team behind the ITN National and Regional News theme music, heard daily across the UK. His own compositions, including “Classic Energy,” have featured widely across ITN programming.
Curtis began his career in London’s music scene, writing, recording and performing alongside musicians connected with bands including Whitesnake and Def Leppard. That background still informs his work as a composer, producer and arranger.
Whether writing for screen, records or instrumental projects, his work is marked by melody, musicality and a strong sense of feel.
